Dog lovers - Help required
I am a police dog handler and currently on a course training a new passive Explosive Search Dog at Gatwick Airport.
We are looking for people over the age of 16 who like dogs and would be interested in coming to Gatwick Airport to assist with our training. The course is running for the next 4 weeks Monday to Friday and help is required between 9.30am-12pm. If you would be interested in assisting us or know anyone that might be please contact me on 07739 370240.
If you have any questions please ask me. If you are not available in the next 4 weeks but would be keen another time please send me your details as we are running another course in May/ June. My email is ablwebber@aol.com

Area Ball
Dear all,
The Romney Marsh branch have organised the ball for the evening of the 17th April at the High Rocks in Tunbridge Wells. At the moment we have plenty of ticket sales from the Romney March branch but none form other Pony Club branches. The profit from this event is used to subsidise training within the area so a good turnout helps us all. Could you give your members a prod and make sure that they are aware of the date?
All details are via the Area website or the Romney Marsh pages
Thanks

Anton Prince Swarovski NPS registered 12.2 chestnut gelding. This very sweet pony is 5 years old and has the sweetest attitude to life. He is a complete little gentleman and is looking for a home where he can continue his education. He will make a lovely first ridden/lead rein pony. He was broken last year and had some very good ground work/natural horsemanship education then was turned away. He has now recently come back into work with me and is working beautifully off the lunge rein. Lovely soft snaffle mouth and voice responsive.
Great with children, dogs, chickens and tractors. Good with farrier and is currently unshod. Up to date with flu and tet and wormed. Lives in or out. no tack, no loans £900 Ono good knowledgable home more important than price.

I am delighted to announce that Mrs Liza Curtis has now taken over the roles of Branch Treasurer and Membership Secretary effective today 10th March 2014. Please forward all claims for reimbursement, cheques for rallies and membership applications or renewals etc. to Liza. Liza will also take any further camp bookings.

If you have recently sent any Branch business to me don't worry, I'll make sure it is passed on.
I wish to take this opportunity of thanking both Liza and Candy for taking on the significant portfolio of responsibilities previously discharged by the late Dr Lionel Ripley and I'm sure you will all want to wish them well.

LOAN PONY WANTED
Hi there,
A good friend of mine is looking for a loan pony for her 14 year old daughter. Pony will be kept on a private farm in High Hurstwood with our ponies, where we have 50 acres of off road hacking, all year turnout and stables.
Pony must:
* be safe to hack on its own and in company
* be safe to ride in open fields
* be approx 14-15hh
* not buck/rear/bolt
* suitable for a novice but keen rider
* enjoy being groomed and fussed over!
Megan has had her own pony for the last 6 months, but the pony is sadly having to be retired due to severe arthritis. Megan is confident to walk, trot and canter and enjoys riding on the beach and cantering around the fields, but would like to learn to jump and to attend PC rallies and other activities.
Please do contact Megan's Mum Lisa if you are able to help: lisahardinguk@msn.com
Many thanks,
Heidi Greenwood
