14.1hh Welsh cob pony for hacking only, due to an injury she can no longer jump or do circle work. Injury can be well managed at no cost to loan home. She is an absolute dream of a pony, no vices, good to handle, safe and steady with a very kind temperament. Good with farm traffic, children, dogs, good to box. Please could you all carefully read and adhere to the " Guidelines for Rallies" previously sent on 29^th July.  We are being watched and need to work within these limits to enable rallies to take place.

 

Please clear up all hay and droppings from the lorry park.  Horses are not to be left unattended in or outside of boxes/trailers.

 

Correct pony club dress code – horses to be clean and wearing clean plain tack with no bling! Riders must wear beige jodphurs, clean boots and gaiters, shirt, pony club tie and badge, gloves and hairnets for the girls.   No jewellery including earrings of any shape or form!

 

Hope you all have a great time and please remember to thank your instructor at the end of your session.  Happy jumping.

Looking for a safe, steady 14.2/15hh pony that can do all pony club and NSEA activities following the very sad early retirement of current pony. We offer a 5 star, potentially forever home as have two other daughters coming up behind. Ideally have the scope to  jump up to 100cm, no vices and good on the ground, to box etc.

DIY/Assisted livery - from Sarah Day

We have two DIY/Assisted livery spaces potentially coming available at the end of September at our yard based in Chailey. YFacilities include 300 acres of private hacking with cross country jumps and access onto Chailey Common, 50x25 m floodlit waxed sand school with showjump set, post and rail fenced fields, seperate summer and winter grazing in small groups, wash down area. Two stables suitable for ponies up to 14.2hh/ small 15hh in traditional horseshoe yard and one slightly larger box next to it which will be available at the end of August. E/D/D+ rally 16th August - replies tp Anne Cook

I am sorry to let you know that Melanie Cammies will no longer be running our E, D and D+ rallies due to a change in personal circumstances.  Melanie has been a part of this branch for many years and she will be greatly missed.   She was so good at looking after all our younger members.   However, ?I am pleased to announce that we are going to run some working rallies at Vixengrove, the first being on 16th August, 1pm to 3pm. These will be in rides of 4, any age, any standard but I'm afraid no lead rein or those that need assistance as we have to adhere to the strict social distancing measures and follow the rules given by Head Office. Polly will be instructing.  The cost will be £10.  Please book in the usual way on the website.   We look forward to seeing you all.  Anne
