Pony Racing Practice and Annual Race Day

To all future Jockey's or members who would like to have a go at racing

 

There is a Pony Racing Practice on

Saturday afternoon September 15th

at

Little Trodgers Farm, Lake Street, Mark Cross. TN6 3NT

 

Eridge Pony Clubs annual Race Day is on Monday 22nd October at Lingfield Park,

 

so an ideal opportunity to find your inner Frankie Dettori!!!

if anyone would like to represent SDHEPC at the races on the 22nd October please email me your names.  You will need to have attended at least 3 rallies since 1st January 2018, or attended a race day practice session.  It is great fun to take part in the races, you don't have to have a speedy pony.  Daisy Burgess and Bracken had a fantastic day out and are going again this year and would love to be there with other members.

 

If you are interested I can organise some race training sessions at Sheena West's yard at Falmer.  To take part in the actual race day you do need to be 9 years old on the 1st January 2018.  But you can take part in the racing practice at any age.

 

Hope to see some members at the racing practice and the race day as it is great fun.
