Rally on Sat 7th June at Plumpton

Now that the all day rally has been switched to Sunday 8th June I have reluctantly decided to cancel the rally at Plumpton on Saturday 7th.     As there was only 3 places booked it looked as though there would not be enough to run it anyway.    Sorry to those who put their names down.    I will destroy any cheques I hold and if you paid by Internet please ask the Treasurer to refund the money.    Thanks.  Jane

All day rally

I am rearranging the all day rally for SUNDAY JUNE 8^th. I apologise for the short notice but we are trying to fit it in before the first of our ODEs. The C+/B rally which was scheduled for that day will be incorporated into the all day rally. I know Chloe, Dan, Kezzie, Grace and Alex had already signed up for that so I hope you can come to the all day rally. The rally will also incorporate training for D+/C for the appropriate members so please let me know when you sign up.

 

Please can everyone who was signed up for the all day rally let me know if they can or cant make the new date and anyone else let me know if you now want to come. The number of kids we can have depends on how many of the instructors can make it so do please let me know ASAP as numbers will be limited. I cant guarantee a place if I don't hear soon even if you were signed up for the first one.

 

Payment – I am still holding all the cheques and will only cash those who now do the rearranged date. If you paid by bank transfer and cant rearrange please let me know and I will organise a refund.

OLYMPIA CHRISTMAS HORSE SHOW

I have reserved tickets for Olympia as usual for Thursday 18th December the afternoon performance, starting at 12.30pm The tickets are £27 each which includes the pony club, group discount and booking fee.

The seats are on the east side of the arena block 8.

I am afraid we are having to cancel it. I have been waiting and waiting for the rain to stop as its supposed to be better tomorrow. However, it hasn't and the fields will now be so wet that we will ruin them with the lorries and trailers coming in and out.

 

I will send out another email in the next few days about the date of the other one in August and refunds etc etc but I want to get this out ASAP.

Sunday's Hunter Trials

I would just like to thank everyone who helped at the hunter trials yesterday.  We couldn't run these events without your help.  It was a super day with lots of entries and as far as I know no complaints!  Thanks again.

Tomorrows jump judge briefings

The 1st briefing will be at 8.15 for a 9am start, hopefully for class 1-2-3 and 4.

Anyone just doing 3 and 4 come at 10.45 I really don't think class 3 will start before 11.

 

The 2nd briefing will be at 1pm for a 1.30pm start for classes 5-6-7.

IT,S THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN !!!!!!!
 
We are running our 1st Hunter Trial on Sunday 18th May.
 
I am looking for lots and lots of cross country fence judges for the day. We will provide you with lots of food and drink and hopefully the Sun too !!!!.
If you have never done it before come and have a go it is very easy and you get to sit down and enjoy the countryside at the same time. I will fully brief you to what you need to do.
 
I following classes will be running
 
Class 1 and 2  - 55-60 cm
 
Class 3 and 4 - 65-70 cm
 
Class 5 and 6  - 70-75 cm
 
Class 7 - 80-90cm

Wanted approx. 12 - 13hh pony on loan for 8yr old boy.

We currently have two lovely ponies on loan who have taken both my boys from lead rein to independent riding. However, my eldest son is now wanting to progress and improve his jumping and sadly his current pony's talent isn't jumping.

Both boys are active Pony Club members and have done several mini camps and many rallies.

A very knowledgeable home awaits for a pony at our house on the edge of the Wivelsfield/Burgess Hill boundary. Head groom (ie Mum!) has BHSAI, was a SDHEPC member in her youth and comes highly recommended!
