Thank you so much to the people have offered to help tomorrow but I am afraid yet again I'm sending an email out the day before an event asking for help.

 

I still need URGENTLY the following .

 

Class 1 and 2  - 2 fence judges 

Class 3  - 7 fence judges

Class 4 - 3 fence judges 

Class 5 - 9 fence judges

 

Without people coming forward by this afternoon and stricter Health and Safety Rules I will have to cancel the XC phase and run the event as an combined training and that would be such a shame.

The tickets are £27 each which includes the pony club, group discount and booking fee.

On Saturday 4th October and Sunday 5th October Cobham Pony Club are holding team and individual show jumping at Sands Farm. Please let me know by Wednesday 24th if you would like to enter any of the below classes. Classes 1-6 will be on Saturday and classes 7 & 8 will be on Sunday.
 
Class 1 - individuals, one round against the clock. Cross poles, single fences only, as low as they will go. Lead rein/assisted. Real beginners only, combinations not to have been placed 3rd and above in a 60cm competition or above.
 
Class 2 - teams. Cross poles, single fences only, as low as they will go. Lead rein/assisted. Real beginners only, combinations not to have been placed 3rd and above in a 60cm competition or above.

Fence Judges for next Sunday

Hi Everyone 

 

Thank you all so much for you help last Sunday. We had such a good turnout, contributed more than £2,000 into Branch Funds, and without your help we would have had to cancel which would clearly have been a shame.

 

ONE MORE EVENT TO GO !!!!!!!!

 

This is the final event of 2014 is next Sunday and has come round very quickly.

 

I will be looking for XC fence Judges but as it's an ODE I will by Friday be able to give much clearer times so the following are approx for the XC phase.

 

Class 1 - 10 - 11am

Class 2 - 11.30 - 12.30

Class 3 - 1pm - 2pm

Class 4 - 2.30pm - 4pm

Class 5 - 4.30pm - 6pm

Rallies at Plumpton College

WINTER RALLIES.    Plumpton College are tightening up on horses/ponies coming onto their premises.     Could all those who attend these rallies make sure they have up to date vaccinations for their horses/ponies.    There will be spot checks and anyone who has not got their vaccinations up to date will not be allowed on college premises to attend the rallies.   I think most of you who attended camps will have had your flu jabs checked but please be vigilant that these do not go out of date during the winter months.   It is so easy to overlook this.    Please make sure your vaccination certificate travels with your horse/pony.    This is a legal requirement anyway not just college or pony club requirements !!!!    Thanks    Jane

Most of you or your children who attend senior pony club camp will know Emily and Polly Wagenmann. Their father, Bernard, is suffering from a rare form of liver cancer.

 

My husband and a few of his mates are cycling off road from the west coast of Cumbria to Newcastle on the 26th of September, taking just 3 days all being well.

Rallies at South Brockwells

Welcome back from the summer holidays.
 
SOUTH BROCKWELLS will be running two classes on Saturday mornings, working on flat work and jumping a course. Where possible please attend both rallies in a month as this helps the group progress together. class 1 (10am) up to 65cm / class 2 (11am) up to 75cm. Please note Sally can only take bookings via phone presently on - 07877 979859.

CRISIS: Fence judges for Sunday

OK - sorry to be BLUNT but without more fence judges we will have to CANCEL Sunday's Hunter Trial because we cannot operate safely without. This will result in a substantial reputational and financial loss to the branch; some costs cannot be avoided. We have NEVER been in this situation before. Fence Judges for Sunday 14th September

Hi Everyone.

 

The next event is on THIS SUNDAY and the weather is now dry!!!!!

So far we have only two names down and we CAN NOT run a hunter trial without fence judges!  NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE is required and we will tell you what to do.  Judges must be 18 years or over but younger people are welcome to help.
