Resumption of Rallies and Camps 2021

Following the announcement by the Prime Minister on Monday evening, it is anticipated that riding activities will be able to resume from 29th March.

All activities will run with our Covid secure protocols in place to ensure we keep everyone safe whilst we move towards normality.

We are waiting for a full Pony Club CEO update and should be able to share this next week.

In the meantime our rally organisers have continued to work behind the scenes arranging rallies for all ages and standards, as well as putting in place some very well attended zoom stable management sessions. Please check our website regularly for new additions.

CAMP!  In normal times our dates for camps would be; Senior Camp Saturday 24th July – Saturday 31st August and Day Camp Monday 2nd – Friday 6th August.

Until all resumption plans are known we cannot confirm exactly what we will be able to offer, but these are the provisional dates should you wish to plan your holiday around them.

It would be a great help with the plans for camps if you could e-mail Candy Robbins showing your interest in attending so we have an idea on numbers and age groups. candyrobbins06@gmail.com or to contact her if you have any questions.

New Members looking for a horse

The Scorey family have recently relocated to Sussex and are looking for a horse to loan and possibly buy.  Kate's three children have joined the branch.  Kate writes "We are looking for a calm easy-going family horse, minimum 15.2 hh for my 15 year old daughter, a novice/intermediate rider.  I would also ride (intermediate/experienced) and possibly my 10 year old son (novice).  We would like to rent, but could consider purchase if appropriate later.  The horse could be kept in a great livery yard very close to our home in BN8."

If you are able to help please contact Kate Scorey by e-mail k.scorey@btinternet.com or call 07841 627591.

C level stable management - zoom meeeting Thursday 11th Feb

Dear all

If you haven't booked already, don't forget to go online and book onto the C level horse and pony care ZOOM rally this Thursday 11th Feb at 6.30 to 7.30pm.
This is with Angela Whitehead instructing and is £7.50 per person. Please book and pay via the SDHEPC website.
This will be covering different areas to the last rally so please try to attend if you came to the last session and particularly if you are hoping to take your C Test Riding and Horse and Pony Care this summer (once government guidance allow us to arrange some ridden rallies).
