This rally is being held in the outdoor school – making the most of this lovely sunny weather!

Please could you all be tacked up and ready to start promptly at your allocated time. Horses, tack and yourselves to be spotlessly clean and correctly turned out for a working rally i.e. gloves, tie, hairnet, clean boots and gaiters, pony club sweatshirt/jacket and no bling!

 

Sarah Muggeridge will be teaching and help with setting up jumps will be most appreciated.

 

Please clear up all droppings from the school and also hay and droppings in the car park.

 

Hope you all have an enjoyable time.

Sarah Muggeridge will be instructing and will be using the outdoor sand arena. Any help to put the jumps away at the end would be greatly appreciated!

ODE 25 September transport

Hello,

Would anyone be able to assist with transport back from Wivelsden Farm to Streat (just up the road from Plumpton College) after the mini ODE on 25 September? We are hoping to be in class 1 so it needs to be after the class finishes.

The pony is perfect to load so there should be no issues.

Would be happy to pay our way.

Southdown & Eridge Hunt Ride - this Thursday

Children's Hunt Ride - Thursday 25th August 2016 3pm

Come and join the Southdown & Eridge Hunt Master/Huntsman Oliver Hill and friends for a hack around a Farm by kind permission of the farmer.

To include learning the whys and wherefores of hunting and some optional cross country fences but please note this is NOT a Pony Club activity.

£5 cap children / £10 accompanying adults

Please be smartly dressed (e.g. pony club sweatshirts, no need to plait) and mounted ready to ride at 3pm.

Refreshments afterwards included.

The ride will be approx. 1 hour - all children welcome.

Parking will be signed from the Farm entrance.

Hi Everyone    I haven't heard from many of you yet about next weeks C Test Rally ( sat 27th August ) at Oakfields Crawley Down.  Sarah would like as many of you as possible to attend so she can decide who is ready for this years exam in Oct Half Term.   Remember you Do Not ever have to do an exam just come along and have some fun whilst learning about your pony. help needed at the Pony Club Championships this weekend

	The Pony Club Championships at Cholmondeley are nearly upon us. The entries are pouring in and the venue is looking fantastic! Unfortunately, we are still short of volunteer helpers, which could potentially make it very difficult to run an efficient Championships. At Cholmondeley, we have to fill over 500 volunteer places. We have a core of volunteers who come to help every year in order to put something back into The Pony Club that they love and that has done so much for them; but we also need to recruit a large number of other volunteers each year to cover a multitude of roles. If you feel that you are able to help The Pony Club make the Championships an event our Members will value and remember, please volunteer now by completing the form below. You will be given a briefing about your role on arrival and will receive lunch and drinks throughout the day. A free camping pass can also be provided. Clear round at South Brockwells on Wednesday for pony club members

Hi all    There will be clear round jumping on at South Brockwells Farm by kind permission of Chrissy and Aaron Wells on Wednesday 17th August 2016.  Michelle Quibell will be in attendance with assistance if needed.  Approximate time slots and height of fences is:    30cms cross poles 10am to 10.45am    40cms 10.45am to 11.30am    50cms 11.30am to 12.15pm    60cns 12.15pm to 1pm    70cms 1pm to 1.45pm    If anyone wants to jump higher than this there can be a few rounds at the end up to 80cms.    Costs are 1 round at £5, 2 rounds at £8 and 3 rounds at £10.  There will be rosettes to all clear rounds. 	Excitement is building as we head towards The Pony Club Championships for 2016! Thousands of competitors from Branches and Centres will take part across the different Championships, at venues throughout the country. For more information on the various Championships please see below – why not come along and check out some of the action for yourself!
		El Remanso Polo Championships - Cowdray Park, Sussex, 5th-7th August Cowdray Park sees teams for HX, SUR, LOR, REN, LAN and GAN compete for the Section honours. The British Junior Polo Sections of Buckmaster and Hipwood will also be competing for their respective titles.				NFU Mutual Tetrathlon Championships - Bishop Burton College, Yorkshire, 11th-14th August The Pony Club Tetrathlon Championships 2016 will be held at Bishop Burton College, Yorkshire. See Members compete across the phases of running, riding, swimming and shooting at Open and Intermediate levels.
		The Berkeley Group Pony Club Championships - Cholmondeley Castle, Cheshire, 19th-23rd August The Championships host the finals for Dressage, Show Jumping, Eventing, Polocrosse and Mounted Games. There is also the Horse and Pony Care Final, the Centre Equitation Competition and Musical Ride. Spectators are welcome, there are trade stands to browse and entry is free of charge! NFU Mutual Pony Club Mentoring NFU Mutual kindly sponsor The Pony Club Mentoring Scheme, which sees world class athletes work as mentors and role models. Sharer wanted for 13.2hh pony club mare, suit 6-8 year old child on/ off lead. She is a great confidence giver and has just completed senior camp with great success! She is every mothers dream as is slightly on the lazy side but is a very honest lovely mare in every way. She is a great all rounder SJ, ODE hacks out alone or in company.  Based  near ringmer we are looking for her to be ridden 2-4 times a week with a share of costs.
