Back protector rule change

From January 2024 The BETA 2009 tagged body protectors will no longer be legal for Pony Club, Riding Club or British Eventing. This means that the BETA 2018 label will be the only accepted standard by these disciplines.

Hat Tagging -  Your hat should be tagged with the new pink label to show that it is up to standard following the removal of PAS 015 1998 and SNELL 2001 on 1/1/23.  If your hat still needs to be checked please contact me to organise by bringing it to my house in Lindfield, or at Fairwarp by arranagement.

Camp reservations

Camp is fast approaching and arrangements under way.  The number of campers attending is paramount to the number of instructors  and staff that are needed, hay and bedding for horses to be purchased and of course the food for senior campers.

It would be an enormous help if you could let me know of your intention to attend either junior day camp or senior residential camp and to receive your deposit asap.  Once deposits have been received you will receive a set of forms for completion - these will need to be returned by mid June at the very latest along with copies of your horses' passport and vaccination record which now have to be submitted to the British Horseracing Authority via Plumpton Racecouse a minimum of 4 weeks before entering camp - full details will be on the camp forms but it is crucial that these forms are received by the cut off date.

Please could you e-mail me which camp you would like to attend and confirm the deposit has been paid - bank details were on the camp invitation sent in March.

Thankyou very much

Candy Robbins

Senior camp zoom meeting

A reminder of the Zoom meeting for first time senior campers and their families, being held this coming Monday, 17th April at 7.30pm. Please let me know if you would like to attend so you can be sent the link.

It is an ideal opportunity to help prepare campers coming to senior camp for the first time - the daily routine, use of mobiles etc - and for parents too so they are familiar with kitchen duties, what to pack and the numerous forms that need to be completed.

There will be plenty of time for questions and answers - our goal is to ensure every camper has a thoroughly enjoyable and memorable time at camp.
