Tetrathlon Shoot Practice

The meeting last Sunday was very successful and Sally Bowman (Area 11 rep) answered lots of questions and allowed everyone to handle an air pistol.

 

Following on from this we have been invited to join the OS&B branch of Pony Club for their shooting practices which run weekly at Taylor's Gun Club in East Grinstead every Thursday evening from 5:30pm until approx 7.30pm. This is open to all members aged 8 years and above. They provide guns, pellets and targets and training is given. It becomes a sociable evening as there is a pool table! It costs just £4 per session.

 

The shoot training will start again after the holidays on Thursday 8th January 2015.

 

Long trousers/tracksuits and trainers/shoes must be worn (no boots or anything over the ankles).

 

Any SDH East members who are 8 years & above and would like to join some sessions in 2015 can email their details to Nicky Collins nicky.collins@waitrose.com and she will let the organisers know who is coming along.

 

This will be a good starting point for our branch: ultimately leading to us purchasing our own guns and setting up our own sessions. We will also be purchasing the target throwing equipment required for members who are under 8 years of age so that they can practice their throwing.
