D/D+ rallies

D and D+ standard rallies, including stable management and achievement badges are now being orgainsed by Michelle Beckett - we are very grateful to Michelle for taking on the organising of this.

However, we do need the help of parents on the day of ridden rallies to cover the post of "appointed person". This is to assist the instructor on the day with setting up and the putting away of any equipment used, clearing the arena and parking area's of droppings and in the case of a rider falling, to take care of the rider so the instructor can carry on with the lesson - obviously if the rider was injured the lesson would stop! Any falls need to be recorded in the accident book (provided) and form sent to Candy Robbins for filing.  It would be great if parents would assist with this as Michelle  cannot commit to all dates - her daughter is now grown up and off to jockey school.  Please let me know if you are happy to help please so we can run lots of rallies.

First Aid - if you would be interested in doing an Emergency First Aid at Work course please let me know. This is a 1 day course and costs £40 and is run by Gill McPate our long standing chef at senior camp.  Once I know if there is any interest I can come up with some dates and see which date suits most people.
