Zoom care rally this Thursday
Hi all,
Just a reminder - for those of you who were booked onto the first horse and pony care ZOOM rally that we had to postpone from the 7th October, this is being held this Thursday and your booking has been transferred over. The rally is 7pm to 8pm and Angela Whitehead is instructing.

Golden Cross Showjumping
Well what a day! 228 jumping rounds between 13 branches and the weather was kind too.
Our team show jumping event at Golden Cross on Sunday 17th October was really successful and it was so nice to be and about doing something again after a frustrating eighteen months.
Well done to all that took part and congratulations to all that were placed and of course our x-pole team who won their class.
The full results are now on our website for you to enjoy.
A big part of the success of the day was to those that gave up their time and helped with the event – stewarding the arena's, poo picking, arena party, refreshment runs etc., individual names are not necessary but you know who you are and your time and commitment is very much appreciated by us all. Many hands make light work and no matter how little you are able to do it all helps, so thankyou!

HELP needed at our showjumping event this Sunday please
As you probably know, we are running a Team Show Jumping competition at Golden Cross on Sunday. We have got over 200 entries which is brilliant but we do need the following helpers for this event to run smoothly. Ricco for loan

Ricco is a 7yr old 13.2, gorgeous dappled grey, who is looking for a loan home that will love him as much as we do. He is a very honest pony and forward going, so will need a competent jockey . Ricco has competed up to 70cm but jumps 1m at home and could potentially go bigger with a smaller jockey. My daughter is now 5ft 7 and too tall. She has been riding him for two years since she was 10 years old. He is only up for a full loan so no buyers please as I have a younger daughter who will need him in a couple of years or so. My daughter has done fancy dress, pony camp, rallies, SJ, XC, ODE, NSEA champs, Sunshine tour, beach rides. He loves to do everything although we have not done much dressage with him. He always comes home with a rosette for jumping !
Ricco has one vice in that he gives a little bunny hop when he is pleased with himself but this is very occasional. He can be turned out with any horse and always prefers to have a field buddy. Excellent to load and clip. Perfect for dentist or farrier. Bombproof on the road.
Ricco must stay in Sussex and go to a 5* yard with other horses. Homes will be vetted.

Hi All -
FOR THOSE BOOKED ONTO THE C LEVEL ZOOM HORSE AND PONY CARE RALLY ON THURSDAY 7th OCT
I am really sorry but the instructor Angela Whitehead cannot make the ZOOM rally this Thursday due to unexpected and unavoidable personal reasons. It will be posponed until the following Thursday, 14th October.
Also, ff you had been booked onto the missed rally when Angela was ill, this will now be held on Thursday 21st Oct.

C level stable management zoom rally this Thursday

This rally will be going ahead on Thursday. Pls book online if you haven't already. This rally is aimed at members working towards their C test or those aged 11 years and over who wish to improve their pony care knowledge.

Rally bookings
Please could we remind members that rallies close a minimum of 7 days before the date of the rally.
Firstly this is so any hours reserved with the venue can be cancelled to avoid paying hire charges – some venues need more notice than this.
Secondly it gives the organiser time to sort ride lists and circulate so parents also know what time their children are riding and to organise any transport.
Thirdly it gives the instructor time to take on private teaching outside of Pony Club if they are not needed for all the hours that have been reserved with them.
Please could we have your co-operation with this to keep rally charges to a minimum.
