showjumping success at Keysoe - huge well done to our grassroots team

On the 11th September, our grass roots show jumping team of; Charlie Pincus, Charlotte Sudedar, Poppy Westwell and Frankie Walker travelled to  Keysoe to take part in the finals having qualified at Felbridge during July.

37 teams took part and our team were one of only 45 teams to finish on a 0 score after the first round.  In the second round Charlie and the ever consistent Ollie jumped another fabulous clear, Charlotte had an unlucky pole, Poppy had a unfortunate fall and Frankie jumped clear but incurred 1 time penalty so the team finished on a total of 5 faults.  These fantastic performances brought our team home in 4th place out of the 37, so a really huge well done to all of you.

A big thankyou to the parents who gave up their time to travel to Keysoe and also to Emily Pincus for arranging the rather "Fawlty Towers" accommodation – you are all a great credit to our branch.

This wonderful performance by the grassroots team shows that by putting in lots of hard work, attending jumping rallies and practices really does pay off, so take a look at the programme page of our website and pop your names down for the rallies and come along to receive expert tuition and advice – you could then be part of these teams!
