Golden Cross Sunday - drawn order and instructions for competitors

Drawn order has been done for Golden Cross jumping on Sunday.

Approximate class start times are:

1 – 9.00 prompt

2 – 10.00

3 – 11.30

4 – 1.30

5 – 3.00

6 – 4.15          These are a guide only from the organisers, but please allow yourselves plenty of time so you don't miss you slot!

 

Class 1: 55cm

There are 5 teams + individuals and our team has been drawn 2nd team to jump so you will need to have warmed up and walked the course ready to start at 9.00 as the first 8 competitors ae held indoors. The jumping order is:

 

5th Florence Goodwin – Jack

6th Arabella Goodwin – Humbug

7th George McCaldin – Roo

8th Jessica McCaldin – Daisy

 

 

Class 2: 65cm

There are 5 teams + individuals and out team has been drawn last of the teams to jump. Jumping order:

1st – Arabella Goodwin – Humbug (Individual)  - will need to be warmed up and ready

 

24th  Jessica Bright – Mouse

25th Ethan Collins – Harry

25th Daisy Burgess – Eaglehurst Batman

26th Ella Currie – Prince

 

 

 

Class 3: 75cm

There are 7 teams + individuals and our 2 teams are at the end of the drawn order

 

8th – Ella Currie – Prince (Individual) - will need to be warmed up and ready to jump

Class 5: 85cm

There are 8 teams + individuals and we are the first team to jump so will need to be warmed up, ready and waiting in the holding area;

Class 6: Dengie

There are 26 entries and we are drawn at the start so will need to warmed up and waiting in the holding area:

 

3rd Francesca Turner – Indian Summer

4th Chloe Macdonald – Tricks

5th Francesca Birt – Woodhaven Joey

6th Abigail Johnson – Oscar

 

 

Angela Whitehead will be there to walk the course and support teams in classes 1, 2 and 3

Sarah Muggeridge will be there to walk the course and support the team in class 5

 

 

Please can all horses be immaculate in their turnout, all to be plaited and to wear clean plain tack, no bling! – riders to wear tweed jackets, pony club tie and badge, beige jodphurs, clean boots and gaiters, gloves, hairnets for the girls.

 

 

Please be sensible and avoid contact with other horses, don't share water buckets and do not touch fences or let your horses graze.

Cars must be parked in the car park, not the lorry park.

 You will be parked by officials, so please wait to be parked. To allow room for parking, side ramps cannot be left down and  horses cannot be tied to the side of box/trailer

 

No haynets to be tied outside of vehicles

Please clear up all droppings, hay and litter

 

If there are any changes please let me know immediately so the organisers can be informed.
