PONY CLUB DAY OUT - Sunday 13th May 2018

Hello everyone

Your Pony Club is running the first cross country event of the year at Wivelsden soon, on the 13th May and we need people to come and help.

We need people who are happy to come and sit by a fence in a deck chair in the beautiful spring sunshine.  No experience is needed as you will be given full instructions and we'll also provide you with refreshments to keep you going.  It's a great opportunity to grab a mate and have a catch up while you work or bring your youngster to come and watch how the cross country course is jumped before they have a go themselves.

You don't have to do all day. We're happy to split mornings and afternoons so you could even do it around your classes, your mucking out, riding or it's a really good excuse to put off your housework or DIY.......

We are also looking for new volunteers to help by taking over the start and finish line.  After many years our trusty stalwarts, Roger and Mary Emeny have thrown in the stop watch and we need new folks to take on this vital role, again full training will be given along with numerous cups of tea.

We really do rely on volunteers for these events, a lot of them, because without those volunteers we simply can't run the events.  It's fund raisers like these which help to keep the cost of rallies and summer camp down to an affordable level and we do need your help.  Perhaps your child isn't keen on cross country?  Please volunteer to help at this event when you don't have child and pony to sort out at the event.

Please contact Sally Harper on sallyannharper@me.com. Or give me a call on 07753 777072 and we can work out timings to suit you.

Hoping to hear from you

Sally

Can't do this event but want to give us a hand?  Pencil in Sunday 10th of June for the ODE. All kinds of help will be needed them as well.

Are you a baker?  We're always keen for home bakes, or cakes /savouries of all descriptions to take round on our bun run at these events.  It helps keep our volunteers going.  All promises gratefully received.
