Representing the branch - from Anne Cook

Hi Everyone Just a few points - If members would like to represent the branch in a show jumping, eventing or dressage team competition they need to attend the relevant practices. They dont have to attend every practice but as many as possible. The trainer needs to have seen every rider and horse prior to an event before they are put in a team. Entry fees need to be paid to the relevant organiser before entries are sent off. If they don't receive the correct money, you will not be entered. If you are representing the branch in a team you will need to wear a Southdown East numnah. These can be bought so that you have your own, please contact Candy, or you can borrow one for the day with a deposit being paid and refunded on return of the numnah. Candy has a supply of these. Everyone needs to be smart and horses plaited. The team organiser is responsible for the entries and the entry form should be signed by them. Any communication with the branch will be through the team organisers. To represent the branch at Area Level you must have attended at least three working rallies. If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact me or the relevant discipline organiser. Many thanks. Anne
