Help with organising E/D/D+ rallies

Unfortunately due to personal circumstances our E/D/D+ organiser is unable to organise any rallies at this present time.

We realise this is a frustration to our younger members but as all our committee members and rally organisers are volunteers, we are very appreciative of all the work and time they dedicate to our branch and understand their need to devote time to other matters.

We are therefore looking for someone who could take on this role which includes the booking of a venue and instructor, promoting the rally via e-mail and then facebook, dealing with member queries on the lead up to the rally and being present on the day to support the instructor with any jumps that need setting up if required, clearing the arena and parking areas of droppings etc. It is possible that on the day of the rally this could be shared with another appointed person who is also there to assist the instructor in case of a fall.

You would liaise with the instructor to put members into correct riding groups and this is then e-mailed out to members with times and any other information. Following the rally a simple rally return is submitted showing all members that took part, who they rode and in which group – this is a requirement of HQ and has to be kept on file in case of an insurance query.

The Southdown Hunt East Branch would very much appreciate your support and look forward to hearing from anyone who can help.  If this is something you could help with or would like further information please contact either myself or Candy .
