For the upcoming Mid-Surrey Tetrathlon competition Emma Beasley (who is covering for Nicky Collins while she is away) says she has only been notified of two members wishing to enter. Please could you let Emma know ASAP (entries need to go in the post on 8th April) if you want to participate.

Please would you all be tacked up and ready to start promptly at your allocated time. Ponies, tack and yourselves clean and correctly turned out for a working rally ie., long sleeved white shirt, PC tie & sweatshirt, light cream jodhpurs, black/navy velvet or silk on hats, gloves, hairnets (girls). No earrings or studs anywhere. Black, navy, natural numnahs and girths not brightly coloured.
Please pick up all droppings and hay from the car park.
Please remember to greet and thank your Instructor and the venue owner and organiser.
Jane Walsh has kindly offered to sell refreshments.

Please could you all make sure you are tacked up and ready to start promptly at your allocated time and remember to wear correct pony club clothing and tack for rallies, including hairnets and gloves!
We are asked to poo pick the school and place droppings into the skips provided in the corner of the arena.
Polly Thom will be instructing and any help with setting up jumps would be much appreciated.
Chelwood Equestrian can be found on the road between Nutley and Chelwood Gate, and the access is on a sharp bend, but is signposted. Follow the drive down to the 5 bar gate, and then continue past the buildings to the lorry park on the righthand side – there is lots of parking, and again the area to be cleared of hay and droppings. To access the indoor school, turn left out of the lorry park and then bear left up a short track that goes between the buildings to the school entrance.
Please shut all gates behind you. Horses are not to be left unattended tied to trailers/lorries.
There are toilets on site. There is also a kitchen area we can use, but you will need to bring your own tea, coffee, milk etc. – quite civilised!!

Dear Candy Robbins,
I am writing to you on behalf of a committee of BSc Equine Management second year students at Hadlow College. As a part of our course we are required to plan and run an equine event. Our group is running a lecture demonstration evening with renowned dressage rider Andrew Gould. I am writing to ask if you would be willing to promote ticket sales for this event within your pony club.
The lecture demonstration will be taking place on Monday 20th of April at 7pm. Tickets are £20 with £15 tickets for under 16s and over 65s. There is also a group booking discount with buy 10 tickets get one free. Andrew Gould will be bringing a selection of horses to teach and demonstrate his training methods on throughout the evening. It promises to be an interesting and educational evening. We are also holding a charity raffle in support of the RSPCA Lockwood Centre for Horses and Donkeys with prizes from The Mark Todd Collection, Toggi, Mountain Horse, FMBs Therapy Systems and much more.
We would really appreciate any form of promotion for the event you could do as this will be a very good night. We would like as many people as possible to be able to enjoy it. I have attached a copy of the flyer for the event which has a printable ticket order form. Unfortunately we are unable to take Mr Jingles to any rallys this Easter. Daisy Burgess-Dinleyici would love to attend the D test rally at Plumpton College. To enable her now she is 8 to take her D test. If someone could lend us a pony for the rally we would be extremely grateful. For those who know Daisy speed is not important.... (Only with Mr Jingles!) But sensibility would be fantastic.
We do have transport.

Eridge Pony Club will be holding their One Day Event on 3rd May this year at Eridge Park.
Although the schedule is not yet available there will be classes for levels 2, 3 and 4. This caters for those jumping 80cm, 90cm and 1m.
If you would like to take part and be entered please let me have your names, pony name and date of birth, along with the level you would like to enter, by Friday 3rd April.
On Sunday 17th May West Kent Meopham are holding their One Day Event at Lodge Farm.
