Katie (Vaughan) has sadly outgrown our amazing loan pony Portia, and her owners now want to sell her and find her a loving long term home. We have loaned her for two years, in which Katie has won too many to mention, she is happy jumping 70, 80, 90cm, jumping, JWS and cross country (which she loves). Was placed in NSEA 2014 Championship 1st team 80cm, 4th team 70 and 5th 70 JWS, has qualified for 2015 in team 70, 80, 90cm and indiv in 70 with more qualifier to follow in JWS. (Hence why she is not available until after the October half term Championships)
At the moment with us she lives out in the summer with limited grazing and stabled in the winter with mares and geldings (located at home at Sheffield Park). Easy to do in every way will stand for hours at shows,

Portia stunning 13.2 chestnut mare 11 yrs. British Riding Pony cross Welsh B out of well known and regarded West Acre Comic Opera.
We have owned her from a 5 year old when my daughter was 10 and together they have done all Pony club events inc S/J ODE's hunter trials etc and both junior and senior camp all with the Chiddingfold Farmers.
She has always been in the teams and is very fast against the clock,jumping from any angle or stride. Very easy to do in all ways but not keen on having her head clipped! She took my daughter from a lightly nervous 10 year old to a very confident Show jumper now on her horse. A very good doer lives on thin air ! never had laminitis but is prone to putting on the pounds.
She has won and been placed in so many competitions up to 1m with my daughter and although not too keen on dressage(finds it very boring) she has won ODE's and always been placed in team events.She has competed at Hickstead many times.Has also won and been placed many times at working hunter showing classes! She's a fabulous character and so much fun! She was part of the musical ride in 2012 at the Royal Surrey show and was brilliant despite all though the noise and activity going on. Would easily affiliate with the right rider.
Very sad sale of this very very much loved pony but she needs a competitive home and rider so she can do what she loves most, jumping! She will come with full wardrobe and tack and poss loan with a view to buy to the right home.
