Turton Hunter Trial - HELP!!!!!
Firstly – many, many thanks to all the people you have kindly offered to help at the Turton Hunter Trials on Sunday 13th September. Claire Fry will be in contact with you shortly regarding times etc.
Secondly – We are still very short on fence judges with 20 fences on each course to cover. Please, please, please help – any part of the day would be great with the event starting at 9.00. Without fence judges we cannot run the event, simple as that!
Please contact Claire Fry with your offer to help fence judge: clairemfry@hotmail.co.uk - she will contact you in turn to confirm your message and timings nearer the event.
Thirdly – we need help with parking over the course of the day. Suggested shifts; 7.45 – 10.00, 10.00 – 12.30, 12.30 -2.30. If you are happy to sit in a deck chair and direct drivers in and out of the parking field, please contact Candy on 0781 658 0322 or candyrobbins@w-com.net. Maybe you have a husband or partner who doesn't have to be horsey, but would be prepared to do this necessary task – refreshments and a Sunday newspaper provided!
Fingers crossed we have some willing members and their families who can help to make this event run smoothly and raise funds to subsidise rallies for our children and maintain essential equipment.
