Ride and Road Safety Day - Tuesday 31st May

Road Rider Achievement Badge/Test

Mini Road Badge. Everyone that is taking their D test. 

Riding & Road Safety Achievement Badge. Everyone who has done their D+ needs to do this badge before they can take their C test.

Road Rider Test. Everyone who has done their C needs to do this badge before they can take their C+ test. You must also have taken your road achievement badge and be over 12. 

Mini badge from 9.30 to 11am MAX 8 (poss 16) 

R&RS  Achievement from 11.30 to 4pm Cost £20. MAX 8

Road Rider Badge 9.30am - 1.30pm Cost £25.  MAX 8

If you would like to be added to either list please could you let me know what level.

Both sessions will start with a thorough tack check. Any loose stitching will need mending before riding starts so please can you check your tack, particularly stirrup leathers before the day. The children will do a bit of theory and they will need a pen and paper. They will then walk and ride the course which will be laid out. Afterwards a theory and practical test will be completed.
Ponies do not need to be plaited but must be SMARTLY turned out. These sessions are examinations and the examiner will expect the candidates to be dressed as such, for the Achievement badge they should be in usual pony club attire (sweatshirts, cream jodhpurs, hair nets etc) For the Road Test jacket and ties please when being tested. If you have them please bring pale gloves and any fluorescent items for the child and pony. Also a pen and paper. Please do not buy anything you will not use again just let me know and I am sure we can borrow what is needed. NO earrings or piercings.

Cost Achievement Badge £20 / Road Test £25. Please complete a rally form and pay by chq or BACS. (Please email once sent) First people to complete both form and payment will get a place first.
